Laboratory Quality Objectives

The quality policy represents the commitment of SET Laboratory to fully satisfy the requirements of the customers and laboratories operate consistently. Its general quality objectives are:

  1. To ensure that all the services are performed following established procedures and validated instructions carried out competently and impartially.
  2. To ensure that the management of the laboratory, testing and its calibrations and measurements are maintained and performed in accordance with the principles of a quality system established in compliance with ISO 17025:2017.
  3.  To ensure that all staff members involved in activities within the scope of the quality management system are aware of the quality policy, its documentation and implementation, and continuously evaluate opportunities for improving the Laboratory’s operation.
  4. To achieve these objectives in a safe, efficient and effective manner by improving and reviewing the Quality Management through preventive actions annually.

The achievement of the above quality objectives will be measured by the following quantifiable objectives:

  1. Achieve annual customer satisfaction level through feedback not less than 75%. (Impartiality)
  2. Participate in inter-laboratory comparison annually to cover the scope in a span of 3 years. (Competency)
  3. Staff participation in annual training to a level of familiarity with the quality management system appropriate to the staff’s degree of responsibility. (Competency)
  4. Improve the Quality Management System by generating at least 2 preventive actions annually. (Consistency in Operation)
